Old katamon A great neighborhood for singles, young families, middle age and senior citizens. It is primarily a Dati Leumi population but there are also secular and more right-wing religious residents. It is walking distance to Emek Refaim, Talpiot, Rehavia and even the center of town.
There are a host of synagogues for all ages and types, such as: Ohel Nechama, Ramban, Yakar, Shir Chadash, Eretz Hemda and the Shtieblach. For young families, Rabbi Benny Lau (Ramban) is a big draw. Singles can be found Friday nights in a host of synagogues in the neighborhood.
